ADJUSTING THE HEADSET
You can adjust the headband and back support band for a custom fit. To
adjust the headband, firmly grasp the headband's center section and slide
each side in or out.
Rotate the back support band and slide each side until it fits snugly
across the back of your head.
PLAYING THE RADIO
1. Rotate VOLUME in the opposite direction from the arrow until it stops.
2. Set ON/OFF to ON.
3. Adjust VOLUME to a comfortable listening level.
4. Set AM/FM to the desired band.
5. Rotate TUNING to tune to the desired station. Use the tuning window on
the outside of the right earpiece to see the frequency you tune.
6. When you finish listening to the radio, set ON/OFF to OFF.
Notes: Your radio has an automatic FM stereo circuit. When you tune to a
stereo broadcast, the tuning circuit automatically switches to
stereo reception. If the signal strength weakens during stereo
reception, the radio automatically switches to the monaural mode
for improved sound quality.
Reception might vary as you move.
Listening Safely
To protect your hearing, follow these guidelines when you use headphones.
Set the volume to the lowest setting before you begin listening. After
you begin listening, adjust the volume to a comfortable level.
Do not listen at extremely high volume levels. Extended high-volume
listening can lead to permanent hearing loss.

Once you set the volume, do not increase it. Over time, your ears adapt
to the volume level, so a volume level that does not cause discomfort
might still damage your hearing.
Traffic Safety
Do not wear headphones while operating a motor vehicle or riding a bicycle.
This can create a traffic hazard and is illegal in some areas.
Even though some headphones are designed to let you hear some outside
sounds when listening at normal volume levels, they still present a traffic
hazard.
